Ocean Signal’s EPIRB3 is a 406MHz global distress beacon with a manual release bracket.
The EPIRB3 is packed with features in a modern, compact design, including AIS technology that provides local responders with accurate and reliable location information on the person in distress, speeding up rescue efforts. In addition, Return Link Service (RLS) provides confirmation to the person activating the EPIRB that their distress message has been received. Near Field Communication (NFC) allows a smartphone application to be used to monitor the EPIRB’s battery and other functions to ensure its proper functioning.
