EPIRB Ocean Signal SafeSea EPIRB1 PRO CAT1 AUTO

Ocean Safety

SafeSea EPIRB1 PRO is the most compact “float free” CAT1 automatic release EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon) on the market.
The EPIRB1 PRO is category 1, meaning it can be released both manually and automatically; it is supplied with a housing and hydrostatic release as standard.

In addition to the international distress frequency of 406MHz, the device is equipped with

  • a transmitter that works at a frequency of 121.5MHz used for the short-range location
    of ships in distress.
  • a high-brightness stroboscopic LED, for greater visibility especially at night.
  • an automatic housing without a category I float. This ensures that the EPIRB is automatically released from the bracket thanks to the internal hydrostatic release, and then automatically activated and floats on the surface to send the emergency message to the satellite network.

The Automatic Release Housing (ARH) comes with a handy adapter that provides moreoptions for subsequent installation using the same mounting holes previously used for older, larger EPIRBs such as the Ocean Signal E100/E100G, Jotron Tron 60s and McMurdoE5/G5.
